Loving the look of this thing.. i wish Renault (or Alpine) would release a higher powered Megane. One of the best looking, hatchback sized EVs around but 200hp is a bit underwhelming. Also, I wish EVs would at least mimic gears (lonic 5 N).. all these one note rise and falls just sound like a washing machine getting up to full spin and back lol

I have this car. There are no issues with the cup holders. Normal coffee cups, normal sized cans of drink, and water bottles all fit fine. It's only if you have an idiotic sized thing that it won't fit, which goes for most cars, really.

Really rather disappointing. Weve been seeing adverts for this EV for way too long it just seems a bit 'meh'. There are more interesting options outhere now that this feels a bit late to the party. As for the return of Capri name and it being an SUV. What an uninspiring and unimaginative move. It couldve lead the way to a new breed of sporty driver focused lower-slung EVs to replice their RS heritage. But why be that brave eh Mr Ford!?

You certainly can't take it offroad with it being so low. Hell! You will probably damage the battery going over a speed bump and will cost you $40,000 for a battery replacement. EV's are a joke! 😆😂🤣😂🤣😂

I like it reminds me of American cars from the early 90s. A lovely round edges and feels quite americana but with a more teamed European styling I like it.

I kind of want to like it, but I don’t. It’s another SUV, using VW parts, that is too fast for its target demographic’s needs, and it’s still too expensive. They’ve already got EVs wrong by trying to make their sports car brand a family SUV EV, and now they’re thinking of launching their other sports car heritage, the Capri, as an SUV… which will just compete with their heritage SUV brand, the Explorer, which is basically a VW in disguise. (Not the first time they’ve done that: Mondeo/Passat.) C’mon Ford, you can do better.

I find the Ariya a very practical car, the boot especially with its false floor. If it were RWD plusher suspension and a decent stereo I would have no question about going for it a 2nd time, I will be checking out Ioniq5 and the Ariya AWD, Tesla wont be getting a look in due to lack of HUD and indicator stalks (fools).

What is it with car interior design? Do we really need screens in the middle of the vehicle where they are a distraction to the driver? I own enough screens already, I don’t need them in the car. Most driving related ‘changes’ should be done whilst stationary and why do we need such large screen real estate? Screen envy gone mad. I look forward to when manufacturers realise ‘less is more’ and the interior can revert to being a place to relax whilst driving WITHOUT distractions, but with ergonomic, sleek, unobtrusive refined luxury.

Fact corrections: Heat pump is not standard but is available as a £1000 option. The 79kW battery is only available on the AWD - all other launched RWD get a 77kW battery.

❤😊 good to see more electric cars however, but I've liked to seen a smaller lightweight version of the ford. marquis which is a good car and have a bit of performance to it. all electric cars can form well so why make it slow and boring? oh and a frunk 😊 but I'm pleased to see it is electric now. we need to dump the pump before it kills us all 🤡☠️⛽☠️

The Kia EV6 sunroof has a blind that eats significantly into the head room - anyone over 178cm/5'10" will hit the roof in the EV6 with a sunroof (even with the seat at its lowest). The Audi does not have the same restriction.

Hopefully we can turn off the noise. The car is interesting having a slightly smaller battery to reduce weight and make it more fun to drive. Looks are pretty good and is definately worthy of the "hot hatch" label.

Biggest concern here is if this is what a year old EV is worth- who on earth will be busing a new one? Who has that kind of money to burn? The used market will dry up fast.

Cup holders in the front are adjustable!!! The middle divider can me moved!!

Looked at both cars and in the end went for the q4 etron, even thou the boot space is smaller it is more usable as the lower profile of the ev6 and angle of tailgate on boot meant that the dog fit so much better in the Audi. Or was my dog a brand snob

I have had it for 7 months and 7000 miles in Los Angeles, getting 4 miles per KW regularly and over 200 miles range is no problem! and I am going heavy on speed and acceleration

I'm not interested in FSD. And I'd like to have an instrument panel in front of me. And Elon Musk puts a dent in the brand. The EV6 has poor headroom in the back and a small rear window. But I like it's look better than the IONIQ 5. They are both expensive but the price drops a lot to buy secondhand with low mileage.

I test drove one today. The infotainment system was an absolute deal breaker for me unfortunately. It drove nice though, but you really don't get much for the money imo

EV to home battery backup, we lose power a lot here in CA(USA) - I will be using my EV to power the home lights & fridge when power is off.

What's the selling point? I have just configured the "same" model as ID.4 and Explorer EV. For ID.4 I got about 63000EUR price tag in Hungary, but the same Ford Explore will be around 53000EUR. Now that is a difference. And the other bigger selling point: most of these new cars are purchased for leasing by SMBs. And for them the fleet leasing of a Ford will be much cheaper (on the long range) compared to ID.4.

Another touchy feely car report. How about data: price $90-$150K....what! Efficiency? No clue. How many chargers available, do they work%? Over the air updates anyone? It probably still has a CAN bus and fuses. Pity you didn't pull that frunk cover off so we could see the abysmal packaging that BMW thinks is acceptable. Former VW head was right, we are at least 10yrs behind the T people. Like all German offerings at the moment they are place holders until they get their act together......maybe! Oh, the lady was right about kids and cars; why would you do that? Get a European badged Chinese SUV while you can.
